San Juan Regional Medical Center made such an investment in their employees. Female employees were allowed to attend Unleash Your Power and in fact SJRMC sent more than half of their female employees from the Urgent Care Department; a separate facility located across town from the main hospital.
In less than 12 months after receiving Dr. Sugar’s training, that department received the award for “Department of the Quarter”. The award was based on letters and compliments from patients and for staff exhibiting core values, personal reverence, thoughtful anticipation, team accountability, and creative vitality. Prior to this, the Urgent Care had not been selected for award recognition for over 15 years.
